Bloomington/Normal Meet Schedule
Below is the Bloomington/Normal site swim meet schedule for the 2026-2027 Fall/Winter season. Detailed information for each meet will be added t as soon as it is received from the host club. RAID-hosted meets are held at Eisenhower Pool in Springfield.
We strongly encourage all swimmers to participate in the meets included on our schedule. The schedule provides convenient competition opportunities, developmental racing, team-hosted events, and a clear progression into championship season.
Meet participation is an important part of swimmer development and the RAID team experience. Swimmers are expected to participate in meets designated for the Bloomington/Normal site whenever possible.
We understand families have busy schedules, and swimmers do not have to attend every day of a multi-day meet. Swimmers may participate on only the days or sessions they are available - we would much rather have a swimmer attend part of a meet than miss it altogether.
Families must sign up for each meet through their online Commit team dashboard by the posted entry deadline. Championship meets are the exception - swimmers who achieve the required qualifying standards will be automatically entered.

Meet Participation Guide
- Team Meet - Swimmers are expected to participate when possible and must sign up through their Commit dashboard by the entry deadline. Swimmers may attend only the days/sessions they are available.
- RAID Hosted Meet - All Bloomington/Normal RAID swimmers are expected to participate. Families must sign up through their Commit dashboard by the entry deadline. Swimmers may attend only the days/sessions they are available.
- Last Chance - Entered only as needed for swimmers pursuing a championship qualifying time.
- Championship Meet - Qualifying standards are required; qualified swimmers will be automatically entered.

October 30-November 1 - Champaign HEAT Erin Block Meet | Urbana, IL | TEAM MEET
Location - Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center, 102 E. Michigan Ave, Urbana, IL 61801
Recommended Swimmers - All Bloomington/Normal RAID swimmers
- All Bloomington/Normal swimmers are highly encouraged to participate in this meet. Families must sign up through their online Commit team dashboard by the entry deadline.

November 13-15 - RAID Harvest Classic - Springfield, IL | RAID HOSTED MEET
Location – Eisenhower Pool, Springfield, Illinois
Recommended Swimmers - All RAID swimmers
- All RAID swimmers are automatically entered and are expected to participate unless you notify Coach Jeff by the entry deadline that your swimmer is unable to attend.
This is a RAID team-hosted meet. Families should also plan to fulfill their required parent volunteer sessions during the meet.
Parent Volunteers: RAID families are required to work their applicable volunteer sessions.

February 20-21 - PAWW We'll Swim Our Hearts Out Time Trial - Pekin, IL | QUALIFYING SWIMMERS / AS NEEDED
Location - Pekin High School, 1903 Court St, Pekin, IL 61554
Recommended Swimmers - Swimmers seeking a championship qualifying time
- This is a time trial meet for swimmers needing one more opportunity to qualify for a championship meet. Only swimmers needing to qualify for a championship meet will be entered.

February 26-28 - Illinois Swimming Regional Championship Meet | CHAMPIONSHIP MEET
Location - To Be Announced
Recommended Swimmers - Qualified swimmers
- All swimmers who have achieved the qualifying times will be automatically entered into the meet.
This meet is the state’s regional championship for swimmers of all age groups. Swimmers must achieve the required qualifying standards to participate.

March 7-8 - Illinois Swimming 10 & Under State Championships - Lincolnshire, IL | CHAMPIONSHIP MEET
The state's Championship meet for swimmers age 10 and under. Swimmers must meet the qualifying standards; all qualified swimmers will be entered.
Location - Stevenson High School, 1 Stevenson Dr, Lincolnshire, IL 60069
Recommended Swimmers - Qualified swimmers age 10 & under
- All swimmers who have achieved the qualifying times will be entered into the meet.
The state's Championship meet for swimmers age 10 and under. Swimmers must meet the qualifying standards; all qualified swimmers will be entered.

March 12-15 - Illinois Swimming 11-14 Age Group State Championships - Pleasant Prairie, WI | CHAMPIONSHIP MEET
Location - Rec Plex, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Recommended Swimmers - Qualified swimmers ages 11–14
- All swimmers who have achieved the qualifying times will be entered into the meet.
This is the state’s Age Group Championship meet for swimmers ages 11 to 14. Swimmers must meet the qualifying standards to participate.
