Springfield Meet Schedule
Below is the on-going swim meet schedule for the Springfield site. Detailed information for each meet will be added as soon as it is received from the host club.
We strongly encourage all swimmers to participate in the meets on our schedule. We’ve designed our schedule to include meets that are conveniently located - including home meets and others within a short driving distance - making them easier for families to attend. Most meets also offer flexible registration, allowing you to sign up for the specific days your swimmer is available.

February
February 28-March 1 - ISI Regional Championships, Pekin, Il
Location - Pekin High School, Pekin, Il
The meet location is incorrectly listed in the meet information packet as Central Park Pool in Peoria. Please disregard this listing. The meet will be held at Pekin Community High School.
This meet is the state’s regional championship for swimmers of all age groups. To participate, swimmers must have achieved the required qualifying standards. All swimmers who have met these qualifying times will be automatically entered into the meet.

March 7-8 ISI 10-Under State Championships, Northbrook, Illinois
Location - Glenbrook North High School, Northbrook, Il
This is the state’s Age Group Championship meet for swimmers aged 10 years old and under. Swimmers must meet the qualifying standards to participate. All swimmers who have achieved the qualifying times will be entered into the meet.

March 12-15 ISI 11-14 Yr Old State Championships, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Location - Red Plex, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
This is the state’s Age Group Championship meet for swimmers ages 11 to 14. Swimmers must meet the qualifying standards to participate. All swimmers who have achieved the qualifying times will be entered into the meet.

April 12 - Red Raiders Future Stars Meet (Springfield, Il)
Location – Eisenhower Pool, Springfield, Il
This is a RAID Intrasquad meet at our home pool, making it a perfect practice-style meet for all Springfield site swimmers. All Springfield site swimmers are automatically entered in this meet unless you email Coach Jeff at redraideraquatics@yahoo.com to let him know your swimmer cannot participate.

Parent Help Needed
We’ll need a few parents to help with timing. It’s easy, you’ll get a quick how-to, and you’ll have one of the best seats on deck. No experience needed—thank you in advance for supporting our swimmers!
What to Bring
Team suit & Red Raider cap
Extra goggles
Water bottle & small snack
Towel(s) and warm layers for between events
How It Works
Coaches will handle event selection and provide heat/lane information. Swimmers should check in with a coach before warm-ups and after each race. The focus is on great habits: strong streamlines, legal turns and finishes, and positive sportsmanship.
